We do not forget
Thursday 07 January 2016

A year ago Charlie Hebdo and his team were cruelly struck by a terrorist attack in the heart of Paris. By attacking a editorial office, by coldly gunning down some journalists, designers, artists, the perpetrators of this heinous act aimed press freedom and through it they attacked the freedom of expression. These barbarians do not have the last word. Culture, art, freedom will be stronger than all intolerances.

We do not forget.

We think on this terrible day of the survivors and we address our sympathy to the families of the victims.
On behalf of the members of the network of European cities and regions for culture LIKE, Michaël Moglia visited this morning the former head offices of Charlie Hebdo to solemnly lay a wreath in memory of the victims.
