Le Rendez-vous de Sarajevo
Monday 04 January 2016

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Laboratory of Europe

This meeting is intended to be a special time for exchange of know-how, experiences and ideas among the members of our network and the local political and cultural actors about a universal question: "How culture fosters intercultural dialogue?".

Organised in partnership with UNESCO, the French Embassy, the French Institute in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we invite you to discover the cultural initiatives and experiments in this country that has experienced tragic events, marking forever both its citizens and its territory.

European integration is also linked with the reconstruction of different countries. Sarajevo illustrates a laboratory city in Europe, with its cultural diversity and its post-conflict situation. In this context, we suggest a policy dialogue respectful of the cultural diversity and to redefine capacity building reconstruction.
